VMI

Before we left Buena Vista we wanted to go see one of the museums at VMI (Virginia Military Institute). Because of Sean's work hours and with having Maia we didn't get to do as much site seeing as we would have liked to. So before we left we decided that VMI and Washington and Lee University, were campus we wanted to see. They are literally right next to each other in  Lexington VA.

We went to VMI's chapel which has a museum in the basement. The museum was dedicated to military equipment and VMI's military history. The picture above was all the artillery they had.

It was rather impressive.
They also had displays of people that came to visit, who played an integral part in VMI's history and just war history in general.

After the museum we wondered around the campus a little bit then drove through Washington and Lee's campus. It was a beautiful day and it was great to see these vastly different campuses.
