Rolling over for the first time

While we were out in Utah Maia decided she would roll over for the first time! She rolled from her front to her back.

Utah

On the morning of December 17th, Maia and I boarded a plain in Roanoak VA. We then flew to the Dullas airport where we boarded a plane to Denver. Maia was really good until we landed in Denver. She was not happy that we landed so she let me and everyone on the plane know it too. The hard part of that was we were at the back of the plane and we just needed to get off. We only had about 20 min to get to our connecting flight and had to go from gate 6 to gate 94. Since she was screaming and I had tried everything to quite her down, she ended up only halfway in the front pack, being carried under my arm, as we ran through the airport. She was happy as long as we were moving but if I stopped for any reason she would start crying again.

Once we made it down to the end of the terminal, I found out that our plane was delayed and there wasn't really a need to rush but the delay had caused quite the pile up around the gates. There wasn't anywhere to sit. There was a very nice gentleman on the end of a row of chairs that gave up his chair for me. It was extreamly nice of him and one thing that I learned during this trip was to rely on the kindness of others. Traveling cross country with a 2 month old, a broken finger, and all my luggage, many kind strangers helped me make this trip.

Once we made it to Utah, Eric (Sean's brother) was kind enough to come and pick me up from the airport. I spent the night in there home and it was so nice to see him and his family. The next morning Kathryn took me to meet up with Kathy. We all had a nice time and then it was off to set up shop and Sean's parents house.

Maia and Grandma touring the house. Maia getting the first close up of the Christmas tree, her favorite thing to look at in the house.

First time meeting aunt Brit.

Getting some good grandpa time and christmas tree time.
