The weekend before we left for Utah, we took the chance to go and see the lights at the zoo. For the most part Maia enjoyed it. The weather was a bit rainy but we wanted to see them before we left and the next day it was supposed to snow heavily. We dawned the umbrella and off we went.
They have a little house where kids can go and explore and in this case get warm. There was a little dog statue that Maia loved!

The lights were beautiful and I'm glad we went.
After our outing we went to Olive Garden to use a gift certificate that Mel had given Sean for his birthday.
Maia enjoyed trying to color as well as trying to eat the crayons. I think she actually got a good chuck of the green one before I could stop her.
I promise we fed her while we were there. She was really really good at the restauranteur and it was a really enjoyable time. Towards the end she got a little restless and decided the coasters belonged in her mouth.
