It just so happened that while we were in Utah so was my Grandpa and Grandma Pippert. They had come down to see Melinda, who is Grandma's daughter, serving a mission in the family history center on temple square. Since temple square was only about 45 min away from us we set up a time to see them.
It was so good to see my grandparents and to see how Grandpa interacted with Maia. It was really adorable.
They had the North Temple Visitors Center decorated with holiday decor and Maia of course wanted to play with it all.
Shaking hands with grandpa.

One of the many retrievals of run-a-way Maia
Maia had a fun time playing with Grandpa's hat.
Maia play (or messing up) grandpa's phone.
Going for a walk with Grandpa.
This is one of my favorite pictures of them together. It is just so tender to see their interaction and to see the history and the future walking hand in hand.
Maia stole grandpa's chair and had fun playing in it.
Trying to get a picture with a squirmy one year old.
Family! Doesn't get better!
I absolutely loved our visit and was so glad that we were able to get together. These are times to cherish as you never know how many more you will have with the ones you love.
