The next morning I realized that I hadn't collected any sea shells to take home with me, so I recruited some help and right after breakfast we went to the beach to see what we could find.
These guys were great at finding some really awesome shells.
One of the things the Isabella is know for is there random face sculptures. I had to take a picture of one before we left.
This is the limo I had the pleasure of riding around in. It actually reminded me of some of the cars my family had growing up.
Maia sleeping on the way to airport.
So it took us a little bit longer to get the airport then expected so when we got there, we only had 45 minuets before the flight left. So we had to hurry through security and to the gate. Luckily Michelle was there to help me and the Airport staff were really nice. Once we got to the plane, we were quickly loaded. Little did we know that in the end it wouldn't really matter.
After the plane left the gate, we sat on the tarmac for about 1 hour before they told us that we were heading back to the gate because of some mechanical problems. We then sat at the gate for another 2 hours while they tried to fix the problem. The wouldn't let us off and it was hot on the plane. The poor babies that were on the plane were all sweating and you could just tell that everyone was miserable. Here is Maia passing the time.
After the 2 hours had passes, we pushed off from the gate again, only to sit on the tarmac again for 45 min because the was another mechanical problem. So back to the gate we went, by this time, everyone was ready to get off the plane. So they finally cancelled the flight.
To make a long story short, we waited and waited to get our flight changed and to get a plan set to get us home, after 4 hours of waiting in lines, we had our tickets.
