Ponytails and Baseball games

This spring, Sean took Maia to several baseball games to give me a little break and so I could get some rest.

Sean quickly learned that she could care less about the game but she loved all the rocks!

The only baseball she liked was the one she found and could hold in her hand.

Before they left, I pulled her back in a pony tail. So cute!

Big news!

So Maia had something she wanted to share with the world. She has been so excited (not really because she doesn't really understand what is going on) so share the big news.

Maia's going to be a big sister!

We are excited to announce that we are expecting a new little addition to our family. Oh and we are having another girl!!!

On March 21, 2014 our family grew by one more when Angie and Bradley welcomed Jamin Nelson into the world. Doesn't Angie just look fantastic for just having a baby? 

Spring Break: Visiting the Baroni's

For spring break this year we traveled up to Wisconsin to see Maria and her family. It was absolutely worth the 11 hour drive.

 

 We stopped at McDonald for some dinner in Wes Dells.

 This wasn't your average McDonalds. It looked like a lodge with it's animals everywhere, wood panel walls, and fireplace .

 

 It was nice there wasn't anyone there so Maia was free to run around.

 

 We got in a little past bed time but Brenton was still up.

Maia really wanted to have her arm around both boys.

 We took the kids to the mall to play at play area there.

When they tired with the play area we decided to peruse the mall. 

We had a really good time.  While we were there Sean and Mitch had to do some work so Maria and I went for a walk, and talked a lot. I loved me some sister time.  Maria and I did escape for an hour or so to get pedicures and do some shopping. It was really nice to do a little pampering. 

We had a wonderful weekend and I already miss them! Thanks for having us over!

Happy Birthday Sean

Happy 31st birthday Sean!!! We hope it was a great day!

Maia and I visited Sean on campus and brought him and his coworkers cupcakes.

Maia wanted to help her dady open his gifts. I was a bit creative with wrapping.

We got him a breakfast sandwhich maker and 

A basketball.

Maia loved helping with the ball.

We had cheesecake for his cake and as tradition, because I for some reason always forget to buy candles, we used 31 matches. 

Fire hasard, I know, but fun all the same.
